Frequently Asked Questions Regarding Salvation
This section features frequently asked questions regarding Salvation.
We hope that this helps provide strength for your journey!

A: Salvation is deliverance from the power and penalities of sin (spiritual death) over our lives. It is becoming partakers of the benefits from having a Christ centered life, which includes the gift of eternal life and becoming a new spiritual creation. [Eph 2:1, Phil 1:6-7, Jn 3:16, II Cor 5:17]

A: The Holy Bible teaches that every person has sinned by going our own way and come short of the Lord's perfect will for our lives. Because of sin every man is subject to death. When we sin we are held back from receiving the promises of God. Every person, whom God loves, should desire to receive His promises and blessings through faith in Jesus Christ.
[Rom 3:23, Is 53:6, Gal 3:22, I Jn 5:17, Rom 14:23, Gen 3:19, Rom 5:12, Rom 6:23]

A: Everyone needs salvation. This means YOU! Without being saved we cannot spiritually understand the things of God, please Him, or be identified by Him as good. The Lord wants a sincere relationship with you!
[Rom 3:23, I Cor 2:14, Rom 8: 7-8, Rom 7:18]

A: Here are some steps that will help lead you to salvation:
The Roman Road to Salvation:
Romans 3:23- All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
Romans 6:23- For the wages of sin are death, but the gift of God is eternal life.
Romans 5:8- But God demonstrates his love for us in this: While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 10:9- Confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him form the dead, you will be saved.
Romans 10:13- for everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

Follow the ABC's:
Acknowledge (Hear) the Word of God
Believe the Word of the Lord
Confess your sins to HIm
Demonstrate Externally through repentance of sin (turning away from sinful things) and baptism (as an outward expression of your salvation that has already taken place)
A: Physically salvation can occur any time and any place. You can be in your home, car, or even at work when you accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. Spiritually, salvation occurs in your heart. We are reborn into the Kingdom of God. While we confess with our mouths, salvation is much more than words alone. Salvation is a committment to faith in Jesus Christ, the only person able to save any of us. That committed turn away from sin and rebirth into a new life takes place in the heart, for as you think in your heart is exactly who you are. [Jn 3:5-6, I Pet 1:23, Prov 23:7]
You will begin to experience the benefits of Christianity:Peace with God, joy, and a worthwhile life are just a few of the blessings you have to look forward to. [Rom 5:1, Gal 5:22, Jn 10:10]
